Then you have to fill the required information and submit it along with the requested documents. Along with doing this, you will have to pay the requested fees and also bring your vehicle for checking.

online process

It is much easier and more convenient to complete the online process. All you have to do is visit the official portal, Transport Service and log in with your car’s registration number. Once this is done, you need to click on ‘Apply for Fitness Certificate’, which you will find under ‘Online Services’ on the menu bar.

Here you have to enter the chassis number and registered mobile number, this will send you a one time password. Now you have to enter the OTP, and other important information like fee details, insurance details and other details. Finally you have to make the payment and you will get an online challan in addition to the application letter. With this, you will have to submit the documents to the Regional Transport Office or RTO and you will get your FC within few days.

Before signing up for this process, make sure your car is eligible for FC. Generally, most of the people can get a fitness certificate for their vehicle only after passing all the required tests.
