Yamaha to launch new scooter specially designed for women, will compete with Suzuki Access 125 and TVS Jupiter 125

While the company is yet to announce the pricing of the new variant, it is expected to be priced higher by Rs 83,130 (ex-showroom), considering that the existing trim with dual-tone themed is priced the same.

However, apart from the price, rest of the details are expected to remain the same. It will come with the same 125cc, air-cooled mill that is assisted with a mild-hybrid system. This engine is rated to deliver a maximum power of 8bhp at 6,500rpm and a peak torque of 10.3Nm at 5,000rpm. Yamaha claims that the capacity of this powertrain has been combined with a hybrid assist system.
