Kinsella, 30, said, ‘My friend ordered the shoes from my ASOS app. Think I paid him for a whole year for next day delivery. Sharing a screenshot of his own alleged ASOS delivery notice, a user wrote on Kinsella’s post, asking me to wait for my parcel till July 2030. Similarly, other users are also sharing the screenshot of the delivery notice.
An ASOS spokesperson told Jam Press: ‘We have learned that some people have received emails that their parcels will be delivered much later than expected. This has happened due to a technical problem, for which we are sorry. According to the spokesperson, the flaw in the system has been resolved. Along with this, the affected customers have been contacted and informed that their parcel will not be delivered after one or two years but only a day after placing the order.
