Why Rhea Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death Experienced Health Issues for 3 Years?

Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty has largely remained out of the spotlight for quite some time. Recently, she launched her own podcast where she often reflects on her past experiences. In a candid interview, Rhea discussed the intense media scrutiny and trolling she faced following the tragic death of her former boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput. She revealed that, in order to find peace of mind, she was compelled to forgive those who had wronged her.

Reflecting on Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death

The shocking news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death in 2020 shook the entire film industry. Rhea Chakraborty, who was in a relationship with Sushant at the time, became a focal point in the media’s investigation into his death. The aftermath included relentless media trials and online trolling directed towards her. Recently, in an interview with Humans of Bombay, she opened up about her experiences with the media circus and how it impacted her life.

Forced to Forgive for Her Well-Being

Rhea shared, “At first, I didn’t think I could truly forgive anyone for what happened. But as I carried this burden of anger, it resulted in gastrointestinal issues, and I suffered from severe acidity for nearly three years. Eventually, forgiving those involved became my only option. I felt compelled to let go of my anger for my own well-being.”

“Some People Still on My Hit List”

Despite her journey towards forgiveness, Rhea admitted, “To be completely honest, I haven’t forgiven everyone. Some individuals are still on my hit list. If circumstances ever allow me to reclaim my power and correct the wrongs, I certainly would.”

Continuing to Face Trolls

Following Sushant’s death, Rhea was subjected to intense trolling on social media. Reflecting on how she learned to cope with these negative comments, she stated, “Today, some of the most famous people in the world are also the most trolled. I still receive derogatory comments; people call me a witch, accuse me of black magic, and even refer to me as a snake. At first, it bothered me deeply—I wondered why they hated me so much. But then I realized their hatred stemmed from their own issues. Now, I see trolling as a form of engagement that can, ironically, boost my visibility.”

Dating Rumors and Future Aspirations

Recently, rumors surfaced about Rhea dating businessman Nikhil Kamath, especially after they were spotted together on a bike ride in Mumbai. When discussing her thoughts on marriage, she said, “There’s no right age to get married. I’m at a stage where I’m not even interested in marriage. Why should there be pressure to marry, especially on women? Men don’t seem to face the same societal expectations. I don’t believe becoming someone’s wife will complete you.”

New Ventures

In the wake of her recent struggles, Rhea is now stepping into the business world by launching her own clothing brand. She is also hosting a podcast that has featured prominent guests like Sushmita Sen and Aamir Khan, indicating her desire to carve out a new path for herself in both the entertainment and business sectors.
