Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made a big statement about the Bangladeshi infiltrators in India. Sheikh Hasina has said that she is ready to return the illegal Bangladeshis back to their country but on a condition. During a meeting in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina commented on the NRC of Assam.
Sheikh Hasina said that in returning back the Bangladeshis in India, India needs to prove that they are truly Bangladeshis. She said that illegal Bangladeshis would be withdrawn on the condition of their identity proof. As per the latest list of Assam NRC, 40 lakh people have been declared illegal immigrants.
There have been repeated allegations that a large number of Bangladeshi Muslims and Rohingya Muslims have infiltrated India. Home Minister Amit Shah called for the intruders to be evacuated from India. However, the promise of the government is not yet seen.
On the contrary, illegal intruders are spreading continuously across the country. Sheikh Hasina has said that now the identity of the citizens of Assam is being dugout. When the task is completed there will be a meeting between the two countries.
The relations between the two countries are very good and the solution to this problem must be resolved through proper communication. Sheikh Hasina’s comments are being viewed from a positive perspective by the Indian government.
