But since last week, Twitter (Twitter) Allows all users to record their space. Now, the platform has released a mini guide on how to record space that all hosts can follow.
How to record, share and delete Twitter space
When creating a space, toggle on ‘Record Space’. While recording, a logo will appear at the top to indicate that space is being recorded.
Note that in space recording only those with speaker privileges will be recorded. Once the space recorded is exhausted, only the host will see a link to share the space recording via Tweet. Hosts can then share the Tweet with their followers.
Before sharing a tweet, the host will have the option to choose where it starts with ‘edit start time’. This is especially useful for keeping things short as the space can already be a long recording.
To playback a space recording, users can click the ‘Play Recording’ button on any space card in your timeline.
The host will have the ability to download space to the ‘Data’ folder of its data downloads. They can also choose the option of ‘Delete Recording’ of the recorded locations at any time.
“Twitter introduces space recording as a way to continue a conversation after a space is over. It prepares creators and hosts to further enhance their content to increase its reach and audience. Plus, it ensures that listeners don’t miss any spaces about topics of interest to them,” Twitter said on the feature’s availability.
