Maruti’s S-Cross was the first car from the company’s premium dealership Nexa. Along with the S-Cross, Nexa was launched by the company in the year 2015. This year Hyundai launched its best selling car Creta. On one hand, while the Creta became the life of the SUV market, Maruti’s S-Cross has not been able to create such a ruckus.
In the launch of S-Cross, the company launched it with two diesel engine options. These were 1.3 liter and 1.6 liter engines. That tremendous trend was not seen in the sales of S-Cross in the initial months itself.

So far, the company has not officially given information about the closure of S-Cross.
New Generation S-Cross

At present, this new model has been given the codename YFG. According to the report, this car can be launched in Diwali 2022.
