Unseen photos of megastar Amitabh Bachchan always attract the audience towards them. On the occasion of his birthday, let’s take a look at his photos.

Amitabh Bachchan turned 80 today on October 11. To make this occasion more special, an exhibition of some old special photos of Bollywood superstars is being shown in India. From Saturday 8 October, in a special event organized by the non-profit Film Heritage Foundation, special photos of Bachchan’s films from his historic early days will be screened over four days in 17 cities and 22 cinemas across India. This photo of Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya Bhaduri is done during the shooting of the film 'Abhimaan'.  This photo of both of them was taken while performing this scene of a musical drama directed by famous director Hrishikesh Mukherjee.  In this film, Bachchan plays the role of an insecure husband, who is unable to cope with his wife's success.

This photo of Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya Bhaduri is done during the shooting of the film ‘Abhimaan’. Bollywood's top director Subhash Ghai had selected Bachchan to act in a film called Deva.  This film was never completed.  According to reports, Bachchan was playing the role of a dacoit in the film.  Subhash Ghai shot some scenes for the film and later stopped shooting, the film also had a great dance number.  This photo was taken during the shooting of the same film.

This photo is from the set of the film, the director is OP Goyal behind the actors.  In this film filled with crime and thrill, Bachchan played a double role as a thief.  It was one of his early films which did not do well at the box office.

This picture is from the 1973 film “Bandhe Haath”, in which Amitabh, the villain of the film Ranjit, is seen being thrown down. This photo is from the set of the film, the director is OP Goyal behind the actors. In this film filled with crime and thrill, Bachchan played a double role as a thief. It was one of his early films which did not do well at the box office.

This picture of Bachchan and actress Rakhi is from the sets of the 1979 film 'Jurmana' directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Both the actors are seen in the background with producer Debesh Ghosh.  Writer Jai Arjun Singh had said about this film that Amitabh did a great role as a playboy boy in the film Finesse, although it took a long time to make the film.

The film's star was Naseeruddin Shah, who played an auto-rickshaw driver, who meets an actress Sanjana Kapoor (Roopa), and the two fall in love.  Bachchan made a guest appearance in the film.
