Siddiqullah Chowdhury, West Bengal Minister & President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind’s West Bengal not so happy as Ramnath approves triple talaq a punishable offense.

Triple talaq will be considered a punishable offense after the approval of President Ram Nath Kovind. If the government does not have a majority in the Rajya Sabha, this bill is passed from the Rajya Sabha in a ratio of 84:99. During the introduction of this bill, groups like JDU, AnnaDramak, Bahujan Samaj Party, TRS and Trinamool Congress were used to walk out of the Parliament in a protest. Earlier, during the first tenure of the Modi government, triple talaq bills were passed three times in the Lok Sabha, but repeatedly the bill fell in the Rajya Sabha. The bill was passed by the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday at Modi 2.0

After the passing of triple talaq bill in parliament, many Muslim leaders of the country protested. Siddiqullah Chowdhury the minister of West Bengal, as well as a member of Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind, West Bengal protested it along with other Muslim organizations. He said it was very sad that it was a direct attack on Islam. We’re not acknowledging this. When the Central Committee meets, we will decide on the next step


On one hand, Muslim women are celebrating after the passage of this bill, while on the other hand many Muslim organizations are opposing the bill. Leaders of Muslim organizations called the bill an attack on Islam. And then came the controversial statement of the minister of West Bengal government.
