Andheri Magistrate Court issues summons against actor Salman Khan, orders to appear on April 5
The name of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan getting into controversies is not a new thing. The ‘Dabangg’ actor has been fighting his legal battle in ‘Adalat’ for the past several years. But their troubles are increasing. According to news agency ANI, the Andheri Metropolitan Court on Tuesday issued a summons against Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his body guard in a assault case filed by a journalist. Complainant Ashok Shyamal Pandey filed a complaint against Salman Khan and his body guard under sections 324, 392, 426, 506 (II) r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per this court order, the complainant has “requested for the issuance of directions under section 156(3) of CrPC against the accused persons.” According to a report, the incident took place on September 4, 2019, in which there was a dispute between the complainant and the proposed accused person. The investigating officer has registered offenses under sections 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code against the accused persons.
