The C 220d and C 300d are likely to be more expensive, with the top-spec C 300d hovering around 65 lakhs. The C-Class can give tough competition to Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Jaguar XE and Volvo S60.
Engine Option of 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
Mercedes-Benz India will offer three engine options on the C-Class. The C 200 petrol, C 220d diesel and the most powerful engine will be the C 300d. The only petrol engine in this is a 1.5-litre unit, while the diesel mills are a 2.0-litre unit. In addition, all three engine options get an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) with EQ Boost, which generates a required additional power power of 15 bhp and additional torque of up to 200 Nm.
