This SUV from Mahindra got more than 1 lakh bookings in just 4 months, know what is the waiting period

Mahindra launched the XUV700 in October 2021 and since then the company SUV has received a great response. It received over 50,000 bookings in just 3 hours after the booking window opened online. The company today announced that the XUV700 has received over 1 lakh bookings in just 4 months since the launch of the car.

The deliveries of the petrol variants of Mahindra XUV700 have been prioritized and started delivering in the last week of October itself, while the deliveries of the diesel variants started in late November 2021. However, the waiting period remains an issue for this. The order for the seven seater SUV is still increasing.

Talking about the waiting period during Q3 financial results, Vijay Nakra, CEO, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “Semiconductors supply will continue to be an issue and we do not see any signs of normalcy for the next 6-9 months.

XUV700 and Thar will continue to have a longer waiting period but overall, the high demand models have more than 6 months waiting period but it will take some time to reduce this waiting period.

The SUV is offered in four major trims – MX, AX3, AX5, and AX7, which have been divided into 23 different variants based on engine, transmission and AWD options. Prices of the XUV700 start at Rs.12.95 Lakh and go up to Rs.23.80 Lakh (ex-showroom, India).
