In the new year 2022, we will see new retro-motorcycles and cruisers. Brands like Royal Enfield, Jawa and Yezdi are gearing up to roll out a whole brigade of bikes that are ready to be introduced in India next year. Here is a list of top cruiser bike launches that are expected in 2022. This list includes two bikes from Royal Enfield and the new cruiser from Jawa. Jawa currently owns three motorcycles in India – Jawa Classic, Forty Two and Perak – of which the Perak is a bobber while the other three are roadsters.
The Czech brand is now working on another motorcycle for the Indian market. The new upcoming Jawa bike has been spied testing in India and looks like a cruiser bike. Jawa has not officially shared any details about this upcoming cruiser bike.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350
The Chennai-based bike maker is set to introduce its Hunter 350 motorcycle in India in early 2022. The motorcycle has been spied several tests in the recent past and is likely to go on sale after the Scrum 411 motorcycle. The Hunter 350 will be based on the Meteor 350 which was launched in India in late 2020.
New Jawa Cruiser
Jawa has started the testing of its upcoming cruiser which is most likely to go on sale in India in 2022. This model will be a competitor to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and its price is also likely to fall in the same price range. More details about this new Jawa cruiser will be made available at a later stage.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650
The company revealed its new SG 650 concept at EICMA 2021, and it is likely that the production version of the same model will also be officially introduced in India by the end of 2022. It will be based on the same engine and platform. As the current 650cc model by Royal Enfield and when launched, it will cost between ₹3 Lakh to ₹4 Lakh (ex-showroom).
2022 Yezdi Roadking
In 2022, two motorcycles will be launched under the Yezdi brand, the Roadking scrambler and its Adv sibling. The Yezdi Roadking scrambler will compete with the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter. Both the bikes get neo-retro styling with features like round headlamps, fork gaiters and teardrop-shaped fuel tank. The use of spoke wheels further enhances the classy profile of these bikes.
