Maruti Suzuki WagonR CNG
Maruti Suzuki WagonR is one of the best selling cars of the brand which has been holding a special place in the Indian PV market for a long time. As part of its Green Million strategy, Maruti Suzuki introduced the WagonR with CNG kit. This tallboy hatchback can run on both petrol and CNG.
WagonR CNG is available in two trim options LXI and VXi. The 1.0-litre petrol engine with cleaner fuel has been used in the CNG variant of the WagonR. It gives mileage of 34.05 km/kg. The CNG variants of WagonR are available between Rs. 6.34 Lakh and Rs. 6.81 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Tigor CNG
Tata Tigor is the only car in India that is available in petrol, CNG and electric powertrain options. The sub-compact sedan was launched a few weeks back with the factory-fitted CNG kit along with the Tiago CNG and has received an overwhelming response. Unlike other CNG cars, the Tigor CNG can be started on CNG instead of starting with petrol and switching to green fuel.
Tata Tigor CNG is available in three trim options – XZ, XZ+ and XZ+ Dual Tone. Its price is Rs 7.69 lakh, Rs 8.29 lakh and Rs 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom). The CNG kit works with both the Tata Tigor CNG and the Tiago CNG with the 1.2-litre petrol engine.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG
The Hyundai Grand i10 is a popular car and the new generation offering of the Grand i10. The car competes with cars like Maruti Suzuki Celerio and WagonR. Along with petrol and diesel engines, the Hyundai Grand i10 hatchback is also available in CNG option, which adds to its appeal.
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG is available in two trim options – Magna and Sportz. Their price is Rs 7.07 lakh and Rs 7.60 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The hatchback variant runs on a 1.2-litre petrol motor.
Hyundai Aura CNG
The Hyundai Aura is the new generation offering from the widely popular Hyundai Xcent. The Aura comes with a revised design and several upmarket features that pit it against competitors like the Maruti Suzuki DZire.
The Hyundai Aura sedan is available in S trim option and is priced at Rs 7.74 lakh (ex-showroom). The sedan is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol motor and gives a mileage of 28 km/kg in CNG mode.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio CNG
One of the best selling cars in India, the Celerio is considered a practical and better driving car. The hatchback will compete with cars like the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. It is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine that comes with a factory-fitted CNG kit.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio VXi is available in CNG option and is priced at Rs.6.58 lakh (ex-showroom). This hatchback gives a mileage of 35.6 km/kg.
