This week the market cap of all BSE listed companies jumped by 6 lakh crores and it has increased to Rs 252.84 lakh crores.

In the top-10, only ICICI Bank investors’ wealth decreased.

The market closed sharply in four trading sessions out of five. on a weekly basis Sensex ,Sensex today) registered an increase of 1217 points i.e. 2.24 percent. Due to this boom, there was a jump of 6 lakh crores in the market cap of all the BSE listed companies and it increased to Rs 252.84 lakh crores. Only in the top-10 of the Sensex, there was a jump of 1 lakh 91 thousand 434 crores in the market cap of nine companies this week. Reliance Industries ,Reliance market cap), Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services ,TCS market cap) saw the biggest jump in the market cap, while the market cap of ICICI Bank registered a decline.

The market cap of Reliance Industries increased by Rs 49,492.7 crore to Rs 16,22,543.06 crore this week. The market cap of Infosys increased by Rs 41,533.59 crore to Rs 7,66,447.27 crore. Similarly, the market valuation of TCS rose by Rs 27,927.84 crore to Rs 13,31,917.43 crore and that of Bharti Airtel rose by Rs 22,956.67 crore to Rs 3,81,586.05 crore.

HUL’s market cap increased by 17610 crores

During the week, the market cap of Hindustan Unilever rose by Rs 17,610.19 crore to Rs 4,92,204.13 crore and that of HDFC Bank rose by Rs 16,853.02 crore to Rs 7,74,463.18 crore. The market valuation of State Bank of India (SBI) increased by Rs 7,541.3 crore and stood at Rs 4,19,813.73 crore. The valuation of Bajaj Finance stood at Rs 4,00,014.04 crore with a profit of Rs 5,308.61 crore. HDFC added Rs 2,210.49 crore during the week and its market cap reached Rs 4,04,421.20 crore.

7023 crores fall in the market cap of ICICI Bank

Contrary to this trend, the market cap of ICICI Bank declined by Rs 7,023.32 crore to Rs 4,71,047.52 crore. In the list of top 10 companies, Reliance Industries remained at the first position. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., ICICI Bank, SBI, HDFC, Bajaj Finance and Bharti Airtel respectively.

Global brokerage firm Morgan Stanley has given special tips to stock market investors. It says that investors should adopt the barbell strategy now. In this strategy, it is advisable to invest in high risk and no risk stocks. It is advisable to avoid stocks with moderate risk and moderate returns.

How will the market perform in 2022?

Morgan Stanley has revised its old estimate regarding the performance of the stock market in the year 2022. It is estimated that by December 2022, the Sensex will rise 16 percent against the current level and it can reach the old level of 62 thousand again. However, it is 11 per cent less than its earlier estimate. The old estimate was 70 thousand. If the bull run starts again in the market, then by the end of this year, the Sensex can reach the level of 75 thousand. The old estimate was to reach 80 thousand.
