Actually, the reason is that he believes that he will not be able to watch this film. Singer himself has told about this. During a conversation with TOI, Singer Sonu Nigam said- ‘I cry from inside when I hear these stories. This is only Kashmir (The Kashmir FilesIt is not a matter of all such incidents, my heart breaks, I am very sensitive. In such a situation, I cannot dare to watch it.

Sonu Nigam commented on Kejriwal’s statement too

Sonu further said that he is not only sensitive to Kashmiri Pandits here but to every community that has gone through such a tragedy. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had given a statement regarding ‘The Kashmir Files’, in which he called the film a fake film and advised to put it on YouTube. Reacting to this, Sonu Nigam has said that Kejriwal’s comment was derogatory to all Pandit families.

Anupam Kher also replied to CM’s comment

This comment of CM Kejriwal was criticized a lot. Sonu Nigam said in this regard that it is very shameful for the CM to say such a thing. Let me tell you, actor Anupam Kher also gave a scathing reply to Arvind Kejriwal’s talk. Anupam Kher had made a tweet, in which he appealed to the public that now go to see the film The Kashmir File more in theaters and make the film a success.
