India have taken the lead in this three-match series by defeating South Africa in the first T20 match and have established their dominance.

India made a winning start to the three-match series against South Africa. Team India defeated South Africa by eight wickets in the first T20 match played in Thiruvananthapuram. Suryakumar Yadav stepped on the field when the condition of the team was bad and South African bowlers were wreaking havoc with their balls but Suryakumar took some time and then after getting his feet, he got good shots.
