Former Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj passed away yesterday. Sushma, 67, was admitted to AIIMS on Tuesday at 9 pm after receiving a complaint of instability and died while undergoing treatment. There has been a shadow of mourning throughout the country centered on the death of a dignified leader like Sushmaji. It is said that yesterday evening, Sushma Swaraj fell at her house. Shortly after she started to get nervous, she was hurriedly brought to AIIMS. She died while being treated in the emergency ward.

She is said to have died of a heart attack. Sushma Swaraj, Bharatiya Janata Party’s was one of the most senior leaders and was in the top position among the BJP’s female leaders. Sushma Swaraj was very famous because of her unique speech style. He has given impressive speeches in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha many times. Sushma Swaraj did not take part in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Swaraj refused to participate in the polls citing poor health reasons.

Sushma Swaraj won the election from Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh from 2009 to 2014 and was elected MP. Apart from this, he also played the role of Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha from 2009-2025. Sushma Swaraj was active on Twitter for three hours before her death. The tweet she tweeted about three hours before her death has now been vigorous on social media. Sushma Swaraj tweeted the abolition of Article 370 from J&K.

Sushma Swaraj tweeted: “I was looking forward to seeing this day in my life.”. This was his last tweet. For this reason, people on social media demanded that Sushma Swaraj survive to see Section 370 deleted from J&K.

Sushma Swaraj was born on February 14, 1954. She was a senior BJP leader and also a former Supreme Court lawyer. After former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Sushma Swaraj was the second woman in charge of the Foreign Ministry. Shee joined the Union Cabinet for the first time in 1977, at the age of just 25. She was also the Chief Minister of Delhi. In 2014, Sushma Swaraj won for the second time from Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh by a margin of 4,00,000 votes.
