Sharbari Wagh Auditioned for Kartik Aaryan’s Hit Film: What Went Wrong?

Shanvari Wagh, known for her role in the film ‘Veda,’ is currently in the spotlight. Having made her Bollywood debut in ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ alongside Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji, she has recently opened up about her journey in the film industry, including a significant audition she gave for the popular film ‘Pyar Ka Panchanama 2’.

Discovery at a Young Age

Before stepping into the acting scene, Shervari worked as an assistant director on ‘Pyar Ka Panchanama 2’ directed by Luv Ranjan in 2015, which featured Kartik Aryan in lead roles. At just 17 years old, she auditioned for a role in the film. However, her audition was not enough to secure her a spot in front of the camera, and she later found her place behind the scenes.

Shervari’s Audition Experience

Shervari revealed in an interview that during her audition for ‘Pyar Ka Panchanama 2’, Luv Ranjan expressed doubt about her suitability for a romantic role due to her young age. “Luv Ranjan told me he didn’t think I was fit for the role and that my age was a bit too young for it,” Shervari recalled. Despite this setback, her audition impressed the director, and she proposed to assist on set instead, which led to her becoming the director’s assistant.

Embracing the Role of a Clap Assistant

During her time with Ranjan, Shervari immersed herself in various aspects of filmmaking, including scheduling and music coordination. She found herself thriving in the role of Clap Assistant Director (Clap AD), positioning herself between the director and actors. “I realized that being a Clap AD is one of the best positions for an actor. It allows you to have a seat at the table and observe the creative process closely,” she stated.

Continued Journey in the Industry

Following her work on ‘Pyar Ka Panchanama 2’, Shervari continued to gain experience, working as an assistant director on ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and later on projects like ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and ‘The Forgotten Army’. These opportunities allowed her to deepen her understanding of filmmaking.

Upcoming Projects and Achievements

2023 has been a pivotal year for Shervari, showcasing her versatility as an actress. Her film ‘Munjya’ was a commercial success, receiving accolades for her performance. Additionally, she appeared alongside debutant Juned Khan in the film ‘Maharaja’. Fans of Shervari can also anticipate her role in YRF’s spy film ‘Alpha’, further solidifying her place in Bollywood.

Conclusion

Shervari Wagh’s journey from an auditioning actress to a prominent figure in Bollywood underscores the importance of resilience and adaptability in the film industry. As she continues to explore new roles, her dedication to learning and growth is expected to captivate a larger audience in the years ahead.
