According to Dutee, “In the sports hostel, he would ask her to massage his body. Ask him to wash his clothes. And when I refused, he would torture me.”
Bharat’s star sprinter said these things in her social media post, which came a day after the suicide incident of Ruchika Mohanty, a student studying in Cuttack. Ruchika Mohanty, who is pursuing BA in History, wrote in her suicide note that her three seniors were harassing her a lot, which she could not bear any more. After the suicide of the student, there is an atmosphere of anger in the political corridors of the state. Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress leaders are all blaming the Naveen Patnaik government for this. Due to her comments, Dutee Chand has also jumped into it.
