Bangladesh team (Bangladesh Team ControversyAll out for just 53 runs and now the news is coming out that the reason for this defeat was the difference of the dressing room. According to a report, during the Durban Test, Bangladesh players refused to obey the coach and the whole team had to suffer the loss due to this. The Bangladesh Cricket Board President has also acknowledged the differences in the dressing room.
According to the report of Cricbuzz, Bangladesh coach Russell Domingo had asked the team to bat first after winning the toss in Durban, but some senior players opposed it. The players of the team first chose the fielding and then the Bangladesh team collapsed like a pack of cards. Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hasan has also acknowledged this and he is very disappointed with this attitude of Bangladeshi players. Domingo himself is from South Africa and he knows the situation there very well and that is why he won the toss and advised to bat first but the insistence of some senior players pushed the team to defeat.
Captain Mominul obeyed the senior players, not the coach
Bangladesh Board Chief Najmul Hasan said, ‘It is not possible to tell everything right without talking to the player and the coach. I know both the coaches. Domingo and Donald had told him about the wicket and said that it would be difficult to bat on the pitch later. Obviously he knows the situation of his country very well. Captain Mominul said that it was his own decision but I know that some senior players did not want to bat first. The captain listened to the senior players because they have to play in this team. But I think Bangladesh should have followed coach Domingo’s advice.
