Through this banking service started on WhatsApp, crores of customers will be able to get basic information such as checking account balance, viewing mini statements etc.

The information about the WhatsApp banking facility has been given through the official Twitter account of the bank. It has been written by tweeting that now your bank is available on WhatsApp, now you can get the facility of account balance and mini statement by simply sending a message from anywhere.

Must register first
Before using State Bank of India WhatsApp Banking, you have to register yourself and for this you have to send SMS WAREG A/c No to 7208933148 from your registered mobile number.

Get account balance information like this
After registering, first of all you have to save the number 9022690226 in your phone. After this, the WhatsApp app has to be opened and then with whatever name you have saved this number, open the individual chat with it. After the chat box is open, you have to send the message by typing Hi.

After this you will get three options from the front

• first account balance
• second mini statement
• Third de-register from whatsapp banking. Whatever option you want to choose, send the number appearing next to it, for example by writing 1.
