Salman Khan’s movie ‘Sikandar’ is highly anticipated by his fans, with the film set to be released during Eid next year. As updates continue to roll in about this exciting project, it is evident that it will feature an abundance of action sequences. Many of you are familiar with the YRF ‘Dhoom’ franchise, which showcased thrilling bike chase scenes that doubled the excitement of the films. However, ‘Sikandar’ promises to deliver something so extraordinary that you might forget all about the ‘Dhoom’ series.
Action-Sequences That Will Leave You Breathless
According to a report from Mid-Day, the film will include an incredible car chase sequence, showcasing high-speed crashes and explosions. The filmmakers are also planning to incorporate several other action sequences designed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats throughout the film.
Stunning Aerial Action Sequence
The report further indicates that ‘Sikandar’ will feature a breathtaking aerial action sequence, where Salman is seen fighting at great heights. To enhance the visual appeal, special effects will be added to create a more impactful experience. Before the film concludes, audiences can expect a thrilling face-off between Salman and the film’s antagonist, promising an epic showdown that will keep viewers captivated.
Star-Studded Cast
Alongside Salman Khan, the film will also star popular actress Rashmika Mandanna. Notably, the main antagonist will be played by South cinema’s renowned actor Sathyaraj, famous for his iconic role as Kattappa in ‘Baahubali.’ The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, who previously directed the blockbuster ‘Ghajini’ featuring Aamir Khan. The production is being handled by Sajid Nadiadwala, ensuring a high standard of filmmaking.
Explosive Action with a Twist
In a previous report by Dainik Bhaskar, it was revealed that there will also be an action sequence that fills the theaters with the sound of gunfire, as the team has arranged for a staggering 10,000 bullets and pistols for filming. Additionally, the film will portray Salman living a dual life; he will be seen as a businessman who also has a history as a powerful figure in his community.
Eid Release and Past Film Performance
If everything goes as planned, Salman Khan is poised to capture the festive audience during Eid 2025 with ‘Sikandar.’ His last film released during Eid was ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,’ which premiered on April 21, 2023. Unfortunately, that film did not resonate well with the audience and was considered a flop at the box office, grossing only ₹110.94 crore against a production budget of ₹125 crore. ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ featured a stellar cast, including Pooja Hegde, Siddharth Nigam, Palak Tiwari, Shehnaaz Gill, Bhagyashree, and Raghav Juyal, but ultimately failed to create the expected impact.
