Markram faced 41 balls in his innings and also hit two sixes with five fours, Washington Sundar also scored fast but by then it was too late. Sundar scored 40 runs in 14 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes. This is his highest IPL score.

Great start for Rajasthan

Earlier, Rajasthan had a good start after losing the toss and opted to bat first. Their opening pair Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal batted explosively in the powerplay and hit many big shots, helping the team score 58 runs without losing a wicket. Earlier, Butler got life in the opening over of the match itself. He was caught out on Bhuvneshwar’s ball, but it was called a no ball.

However, this partnership broke down on the total score of 58. Jaiswal (20) was caught by Aiden Markram off Shepherd’s ball. Captain Sanju Samson, who came at number three, along with Butler, carried the innings forward and hit many boundaries for the team. But Buttler was dismissed by Umran Malik after scoring 35 runs in 28 balls with the help of three fours and three sixes. After 8.1 overs, the team’s score became 75 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Great partnership between Padikkal and Samson

Devdutt Padikkal, who came fourth, supported Captain Sanju. During this, both of them together washed the bowlers of Hyderabad fiercely. Captain Samson and Padikkal were looking in good form. Both shared a partnership of 73 runs in 41 balls. Padikkal was bowled by Umran after scoring 41 runs in 29 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes. After 15 overs, the team’s score was 148 runs for the loss of three wickets.

Captain Samson completed his half-century in 25 balls by hitting back to back sixes to Washington Sundar, who came to throw the 16th over of the match. After completing the half-century, Samson was caught by Bhuvneshwar on the ball of Abdul Samad. Samson made 55 runs in 27 balls with the help of three fours and five sixes and was caught by Umran.

Hetmyer did wonders

Shimron Hetmyer, who came at number five in the last few overs, also showed his strength and batted vigorously while Riyan Parag showed his Jauhar. Together they made many big shots. Hetmyer became the victim of Natarajan after scoring 32 runs in 13 balls with the help of two fours and three sixes. In the same over, Natarajan also walked Parag (12).
