Rizwan’s Humiliating Moment: Applied Lipstick and Jumped Like a Pigeon

Mohammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeper-batsman from Pakistan, has emerged as one of the most crucial players for his team. Known for his calm demeanor and simplicity, he always remains a fan favorite. Currently, he is participating in a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, where he displayed his exceptional talent with a remarkable century in the first match. Amidst his on-field achievements, a video recently went viral on social media, featuring a shocking statement made by an Indian umpire about Rizwan.

Indian Umpire’s Controversial Remarks on Rizwan

The viral video in question features Indian umpire Anil Chaudhary appearing on a podcast. During the session, he was asked if he had ever officiated a match with Mohammad Rizwan on the field. Chaudhary responded, “Yes, I officiated during the Asia Cup. He appeals a lot. I even warned the other umpire to keep an eye on him as he tends to appeal persistently. Once, he made a tight appeal, and the other umpire was about to give an out decision. Then he recalled my caution and the decision was eventually not given. It turned out to be the correct call. He cries out on every ball; isn’t he the one who looks like he applies lipstick? He keeps jumping around like a pigeon.”

Rizwan is often seen appealing for dot balls, attempting to create pressure on the umpires for decisions. In matches against India, his appeals have received significant attention, leading to various instances of him being trolled on social media. This recent incident, where an international umpire made such statements about him, has further fueled the discussions online.

Who is Anil Chaudhary?

Anil Chaudhary has been officiating since he joined the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as an umpire in 1998. His international debut came in 2013, and since then, he has officiated over 200 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Chaudhary’s record includes 12 Test matches, 49 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 64 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Additionally, he has also been involved in women’s cricket, officiating in one Test, 11 ODIs, and three T20 matches.
