Rahul Gandhi has attended zero sittings of the parliamentary committee on defence

Rahul Gandhi who is waxing an eloquent speech over defence-related matters off not attended a single meeting of the department related to the parliamentary standing committee (DRPSC) on Defence since June 2019 when the new Lok Sabha came into existence.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has not attended a single meeting of the parliamentary. The committee has met 11 times since September 2019, and the last meeting was held on 12 of march 2020. According to the Lok sabha website, as a member of the committee, he doesn’t attend a single meeting also

The absence of Rahul Gandhi in the sitting committee of the parliamentary standing committee of Defence combined with his sudden lack of interest in the Rafale deal. He is appointed to has become a longstanding habit of Rahul Gandhi. during the first term of the Modi government

During this rafale meeting, the committee discussed related to procurement policy, defence research and development, defence public sector, the welfare of ex-servicemen, demands for grants, and other essential matters. The absence of Rahul Gandhi assumes particular significance when defence deals are one of the issues that his party made.
