What is the advantage of this scheme

If an unorganized worker subscribes to the scheme and has paid regular contribution till the age of 60 years, then he will get a minimum pension of Rs 3,000 per month. After his death, the spouse will get monthly family pension which is 50 per cent of the pension.

Who is not entitled to join this scheme?

Under the scheme, any worker who is covered under any statutory social security scheme such as National Pension System (NPS), Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) and Income Taxpayers, is eligible to join this scheme. are not entitled.

What will be the process to join this scheme?

Under this scheme, customers can visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) and enroll for PM-SYM on the basis of self-certification using Aadhaar number and savings bank account/Jan-Dhan.
