India is going to host the Women’s Under-17 World Cup this year in which 16 countries will participate. AIFF is going to organize a practice camp for this, for which the names of the probable players have been announced.
India this year Under 17 FIFA World Cup (FIFA U17 World Cup) is going to host. This is the second time that the India Under-17 World Cup is being organized. Earlier, India hosted the Men’s Under-17 World Cup in the year 2017. AIFF is going to organize a national camp for the Under-17 Women’s World Cup, for which the list of potential players has been released. Of the players selected for the camp, seven players are from Jharkhand. Winger Anita is included in these seven players (Anita), The story of Anita’s struggle is an example in itself, which is enough to tell that if there is life in dreams, then nothing is impossible.
16 countries are going to participate in the Under-17 FIFA World Cup. The tournament will be held from October 11 to 30. The tournament will be played at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Nehru Stadium in Margao and DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. For this tournament, 30 players were selected for the practice camp, out of which 23 players will be part of the final team. Anita has also been selected for this camp to be held in Delhi.
Villagers used to harass Anita
Anita is a resident of Ormanjhi village of Ranchi. This young player has suffered a lot due to playing football. Anita told in an interview that when she used to go to play, the people of the village used to point fingers at her. He used to say, ‘Why do you guys go to play wearing half shorts even though you are girls? Villagers used to do a lot to stop and harass them. The place where the girls of the village used to go to practice, the villagers used to put pieces of glass there. When she used to go to practice, whatever she had in her hands, she used to throw it on her. However, even this did not break Anita’s confidence.
The daughter of a daily wage laborer used to do training by eating only rice
Anita’s mother is a daily wage labourer. In such a situation, this player had to survive by eating only rice. Anita used to eat this rice and go to training. Anita’s sister Vinita also plays football. He told that his mother never stopped him from playing. They used to think that if the daughters stay at home, they will do household chores, it is better that they go out and play. Today, when Anita has been selected for the Under-17 FIFA World Cup, the villagers who harass her are also proud of her.
