Music is the best combination with travel

Indian Railways (Indian Railways) has made special arrangements for the entertainment of the passengers during the journey. Northern Railway will introduce customized Music Experience and RJ Entertainment in trains through Passenger Address System. The initiative aims to provide a pleasant travel experience to every passenger on Vande Bharat Express and Shatabdi trains. Passengers will like the availability of such music in trains. The Railways said in a statement, “Music with travel is the best combination and enhances the possibilities of a good mood in travel.”

According to an official release, Northern Railway has awarded a contract to provide complete entertainment to the passengers in trains and an experience about cities traveling through radio service in all Shatabdi and Vande Bharat trains of Delhi Division.

Passengers will be welcomed with radio music

According to the report of ANI, now when passengers travel to Delhi, Lucknow, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ajmer, Dehradun, Kanpur, Varanasi, Katra and Kathgodam in Shatabdi or Vande Bharat trains, they will be welcomed with radio music.

Earning Rs 43.20 lakh annually

Entertainment/Railway information and commercial advertisement will be given on hourly basis during travel time in the ratio of 50 minutes: 10 minutes. With this, the railways will get a revenue of Rs 43.20 lakh annually.

400 new trains will run in 3 years

Let us tell you that in the budget presented for the financial year 2022-23, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced to run 400 new Vande Bharat trains in three years. Nine companies including Bombardier, Siemens, BHEL, Titagarh Wagons have bid for the manufacturing of 58 new Vande Bharat trains. Presently 44 such trains are being manufactured by Medha Engineering in three production units of Indian Railways.

Vande Bharat trains get these facilities

Vande Bharat train is equipped with many modern facilities. The train has On Board Wi-Fi, GPS based Passenger Information System, Beautiful Interior Decoration, Vacuum Toilet, LED Light, Charging Point Under Each Seat, Reading Light Under Each Seat, Intelligent Air Conditioning System, Wheel Chair for Divyang. There are facilities like access to boarding the train, separate toilets for them, CCTV, fire fighting system, automatic sliding door.
