With Medvedev rising to the top, a new number one player will be available after 921 weeks. Since 2 February 2004, only the ‘Big Four’ i.e. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic have occupied the men’s tennis rankings. Now apart from these four, a new face will be the biggest face of the world ranking. Medvedev won his first Grand Slam title last year by defeating Djokovic in the US Open final. At the same time, he lost to Nadal in the final of the Australian Open last month. (Photo: thetimes.co.uk)
