Nikamma Movie Review: Shilpa Shetty’s film is true to its title – Useless

It is not that we see a film every day that lives up to its name, but this Shilpa Shetty film lives up to its name. Earlier Shilpa Shetty (Shilpa Shetty) Never would have done such a useless film. You will not see anywhere in the film that the film has won your heart. It seems that the makers already knew how the result of this film was going to be and hence the name of the film ‘Nikamma’. ,Nikamma, Also kept according to his thinking. Shilpa Shetty and Abhimanyu Dasani are in the lead roles in this film. Shirley Setia is also a part of this film but you will hardly notice her. This film has been directed by Sabir Khan. But if you are thinking that you have to watch this film, then we would advise you to take a headache pill so that you can get yourself out of it soon.

Writers failed to thread the story of the film

In the first 20 minutes of the film, only an attempt has been made to tell that how is the useless Abhimanyu who is playing the role of Adi in the film? Well, that much effort was not needed. You could just wait for the film to end. Sadly, Adi’s boring life is the saddest part of the film. The script of this film is very weak. The focus of the film is only the relationship of brother-in-law and sister-in-law. We have already seen many great movies based on this relationship like ‘Nadiya Ke Paar’ or ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’. It is shown in the film that there is no purpose in the life of brother-in-law here. Sister-in-law is an officer in the Transport Department, but both of them do not get along with each other. In between, efforts are made to make the story of the film a love story, but this film is not successful in that too. Then the need comes when the brother-in-law has to perform his religion. She has to become the Lakshman Rekha of sister-in-law. The story isn’t bad. It has been a superhit in Telugu but its Hindi version is so bad that it looks completely hollow and very fake.

Sabir Khan could not show the magic of his direction

Sabir Khan has given many great films before this, including ‘Heropanti’ and ‘Baaghi’. ‘Baaghi’ was a Hindi remake of Telugu film ‘Varsham’ and ‘Heropanti’ is also a remake of Telugu film ‘Parugu’. He has been the master of the remake but this time his bet on ‘Nikamma’ could not sit in the right place. This film was ready for release for two years, then after two years this film was released, but despite this, this film did not show any special miracle which they were waiting for. He has tampered with the story of this film as well. His bet to make Abhimanyu Dassani an action hero has proved to be a complete flop.

Along with Shilpa, all the actors disappointed

Shilpa Shetty has previously appeared in ‘Hungama 2’. But even in this film, the difference between his acting and the age between two people was also not accumulated. The brother-in-law relationship would have been amazing in this film, but if this angle had been developed properly. People are not able to connect with this film in any way. Abhimanyu Dassani is unable to believe in himself as a hero. Yes, he is getting films only because of being Bhagyashree’s son and there is no doubt about it. His facial expressions look almost the same in the film.

To see or not to see?

The script of this film is very weak and all the actors of the film are also unable to leave any impact on the film. Why Shirley Setia chose to make her debut with this film is beyond comprehension. Abhimanyu Dassani has nothing left to show like acting and the rest of the film’s actors are only seen passing time. The songs of this film also leave no stone unturned to weaken the film. This film will just bore you in every sense and nothing else. Watching this movie is a waste of both your money and time.
