MWC 2022: Oppo introduces 240W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge technology, will fully charge the phone in just 9 minutes
With Flash Charging technology, the 4,500mAh battery can be charged from 1 to 100 percent in just 9 minutes. The 150W SuperVOOC is a flash charge that charges the same battery to 50 percent in 5 minutes and 100 percent in 15 minutes.
Oppo has also integrated a battery health engine into its 150W SuperWook.

Oppo says that the new 240W SuperWook is built with 24V/10A technology with a Type-C interface. It is equipped with three charge pumps and converts the power supplied to the handset into 10V/24A. Oppo said that the technology comes with the current device specification and complies with the safety standards.
The battery technology also has a chief discharge rating, which allows the hardware to support 240W charging. For safety, it uses a customized chip that controls the voltage, current and temperature of the unit. To reduce the risk of overheating through fast charging technology, Oppo says it equips the compatible phone with 13 temperature sensors.
OPPO’s 150W SuperWook with BHE
For the 150W SuperWook with Battery Health Engine, the new Flash Charge technology is an evolution from OPPO’s previous 125W SuperWook Flash Charge technology. It uses direct charging technology with two charge pumps to support 20V/7.5A charging.
Oppo has also integrated a battery health engine into its 150W SuperWook. With BHE, the company promises that the compatible phone’s battery will retain 80 percent of its original capacity “after 1,600 charge cycles”. This is more than double the current industry standard. BHE will be integrated into most mid to high end Oppo and OnePlus phones in the future.
The new 150W SuperWook charging comes with a smaller adapter than before. According to Oppo, the charger that supports 150W SuperWook weighs around 172 grams.
Oppo 5G CPE T2
Apart from the charging technologies, Oppo has revealed its new 5G CPE device at MWC 2022. The successor to the OPPO 5G CPE T1, the T2 has a new design. It uses Oppo’s new O-Reserve 2.0 smart antenna and is made from recycled material. With the 5G CPE T2, OPPO offers faster and more compatible connectivity across devices.
