Maruti Suzuki will launch the new Ertiga in March, know what will be special in the car

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is expected to be launched with minor cosmetic changes. With this, a new six-speed torque converter AT can be introduced.

The interiors may get new trims, extra tools and new upholstery colors as there may not be any major changes on the offering.

As for performance, the current 1.5-litre four-cylinder k15B mild-hybrid petrol engine is expected to generate a maximum power output of around 105 PS and peak torque of 138 Nm. As standard, a five-speed manual transmission will be offered.

The four-speed torque converter automatic transmission can be replaced with the new six-speed torque converter automatic transmission from the global Vitara SUV. It appears that the Ertiga is the first model within the brand’s portfolio to get the new gearbox as it is believed to be launched in March and the same automatic transmission will be available in the upcoming Brezza and XL6 as well.
