Veteran carmaker Maruti today launched its popular MUV in India. Suzuki Ertiga (Maruti Ertiga) Will launch the facelift version of In the 3rd generation, the three-row seven-seater MPV will come with a host of new advanced features. Maruti Suzuki will offer the new Ertiga in four trims, which include LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ variants. Optional automatic variants will be offered with VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ trims. The new Ertiga will come with seven exterior color options, which include Pearl Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Pearl Dignity Brown, Magma Grey, Auburn Red, Prime Oxford Blue and Midnight Black.
New Maruti Ertiga will compete with these cars
Despite the popularity of Toyota Innova Crysta, Maruti Ertiga and XL6 have been one of the best sellers in this segment. However, it will only compete with new three-row cars like the Hyundai Alcazar and Kia Carens. The Ertiga is priced between Rs. 9.29 Lakh and Rs. 12.68 Lakh, which was a competitor to Mahindra Marazzo and Renault Triber MPV in this price segment. Kia launched the Carrence this year for Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the new competitor to the Ertiga.
Expected price of Maruti Ertiga
The Maruti Ertiga MPV is currently sold in the Indian markets only with the 1.5-litre petrol engine which also comes with the CNG version. Ertiga price currently ranges between Rs. 9.29 Lakh (Ex-showroom) and Rs 12.68 Lakh (Ex-showroom). Maruti will add a new engine, a new transmission and many new technologies to the new Ertiga, so the price of the MPV is likely to be slightly higher than the older models. The new generation Ertiga is expected to be priced between Rs 9.50 Lakh and ₹ 13 Lakh (ex-showroom).
