Kangana Ranaut’s show ‘Lock Up’ is doing very well on OTT. However, even before the start of this show, many controversies had increased the difficulties of Ekta Kapoor’s show.
Actress Kangana Ranaut (Kangana RanautBefore the launch of the reality show ‘Lock Up’, a business man from Hyderabad, the makers of this show i.e. Alt Balaji (Alt Balaji) and accused Endemol Shine of copying his show. However, the demand for a stay was turned down by the High Court. However, the Supreme Court has refused to entertain the appeal challenging the order of the Telangana High Court. He has also suggested the petitioner to go to the trial court. A bench of Justice MR Shah and Justice BV Nagarathna has asked the petitioner Pride Media to approach the trial court for an early hearing on the petition. He said that the petitioner can approach the trial court for speedy disposal of the petition. The petition was filed by senior advocate CM Vaidyanathan in the court on behalf of the petitioner. During this, Justice MR Shah said lightly that he probably wanted to see this show.
‘Lock-up’ copied from ‘Jail’?
In an exclusive conversation with Tv9 Bharatvarsh, the owner of Pride Media had said that Kangana Ranaut’s show ‘Lock Up’ is actually copied from her concept ‘The Jail’. He also registered it in the year 2018 after writing this show complete with a team. After registering the show, he had a meeting with Endemol Shine. He had said that the CEO of Endemol had also told him that he would work on the show after the lockdown. But when he saw the promo of ‘Lock Up’, he was stunned.
Is it a publicity stunt
Although some people had also accused the owner of Pride Media of a publicity stunt, but he said that he himself is a famous builder. His event company is also doing good business and hence he does not need to do such stunts for publicity. He expected the makers to apologize to him and hence made up his mind to do everything possible. Talking about ‘Lock Up’, this show is doing very well on OTT.
