LIC IPO: Today is the last day to update PAN for policyholders, know the complete process
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has asked its customers to update their PAN details in the LIC policy to participate in the initial public offering (IPO) of the upcoming government insurance company.

As per the draft prospectus of LIC, the policyholder of our corporation has to ensure that his/her PAN details are updated in the policy records of the company. According to this, a policyholder who does not update the PAN details before the expiry of two weeks from the date of filing of the draft red herring prospectus with SEBI, i.e. before 28 February 2022, will not be considered as an eligible policyholder.
Employees will get a share of the share, not exceeding five per cent of the total offer, which is set aside for them. Part of the amount, which cannot exceed 10 per cent, will be set aside for qualified policyholders. Policyholders and employees are expected to get discounted shares.
How to update PAN details on LIC website
Step 1: First of all, go to the official website of LIC- https://licindia.in/. Or directly go to the page- https://linkpan.licindia.in/UIDSeedingWebApp/. Step 2: From the home page, select the online PAN registration option. Step 3: On the online PAN registration page, click on the ‘Proceed’ button. Step 4: Provide the correct email address, PAN, mobile number and LIC policy number. Step 5: Enter the captcha code in the box. Step 6: Then, click on Get OTP. Step 7: Once you have received the OTP, enter the OTP digit in the space and submit.

Step 1: First of all, go to this link https://linkpan.licindia.in/UIDSeedingWebApp/getPolicyPANStatus. Step 2: After this, enter the captcha along with the details of the policy number, date of birth and PAN. Then, click on the submit button.
