During this, PM Modi said in his address that, for the first time on this Raksha Bandhan, Lata didi will not be there. I dedicate this award to the countrymen. For me, Lata didi was the sura queen as well as the elder sister. The hospital which worked in progress during the Corona period is also Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune. My relationship with the Mangeshkar family goes back four and a half decades.
Even today Lata Mangeshkar is not among us but her songs are still alive on the hearts and tongues of the people. Lata Mangeshkar’s passing is an irreparable loss for India which can never be filled. The songs sung by him and his personality will always be alive within the people. No one can replace her and there can be no other singer like her. When Lata Mangeshkar sang, people’s breath stopped.
