Jet Fuel Price Hike: Jet fuel price hiked for the fourth time in two months, ATF prices hit record high
After the latest hike, jet fuel prices in the country have reached a record high. Let us tell you that within the last two months, the prices of jet fuel have been increased for the fourth time in the country.
Jet fuel becomes expensive again

Public sector petroleum companies said that the price of jet fuel in the national capital Delhi has now increased by Rs 4,481.63 per kl or 5.2 per cent to Rs 90,519.79 per kl.
Jet fuel prices were Rs 71,028.26 per kiloliter in 2008
Please tell that this is the highest level of ATF. In August 2008, the ATF price was Rs 71,028.26 per kiloliter, at that time crude oil prices in the international markets had reached $147 per barrel. After which the prices of jet fuel have now gone up to Rs 90,519.79 per kiloliter, while at present the prices of crude oil are much lower than in August 2008.
Petrol and diesel prices have not changed since 105 days across the country
Let us inform that the prices of petrol and diesel across the country remained stable for the 105th consecutive day. The last change in the prices of petrol and diesel in the country was on November 4, 2021. Since then, the fuel prices have remained stable across the country till date. Whereas, the prices of crude oil are increasing continuously in the international market. On Wednesday, February 16, crude oil prices were at $ 93.18 per barrel in the international market.
So are the prices of petrol and diesel not increasing across the country due to elections?
While on one hand the prices of crude oil are increasing in the international market, on the other hand there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel across the country since 105 days. It is believed that due to the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur and Goa, the prices of petrol and diesel are not being increased. However, nothing has been said about this officially.
