Young South African batsman Devald Brevis, who shone with his batting in the ICC Under-19 World Cup (Dewald brevis) IPL-2022 (IPL 2022) I showed my stormy style against Punjab Kings on Wednesday. This 18-year-old player, popularly known as Baby AB de Villiers, was bought by Mumbai for an amount of three crores. He, however, missed out on completing his maiden IPL fifty. Brevis got out after scoring 49 runs. He faced 25 balls in his innings and hit five sixes in addition to four fours. On the last ball of the 11th over, he was caught by Arshdeep Singh off Odeon Smith.

Brevis stepped into the fourth over. He came on the field after the dismissal of captain Rohit Sharma and he started showing stormy style as soon as he came. Leg-spinner Rahul Chahar, who brought the ninth over, then Brevis thrashed him fiercely and scored a lot of runs. A total of 29 runs came in this over. Brevis hit four consecutive sixes in this over. Tilak Verma gave him a strike on the first ball of the over and Brevis hit a four on the second ball. After this, he hit four consecutive sixes in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth balls.
More than 500 runs scored in the Under-19 World Cup
Brevis scored a mountain of runs in the ICC Under-19 World Cup held this year. He scored 506 runs in this tournament. He played an innings of 65 runs against India. After this he scored a century against Uganda and then played an innings of 96 runs against Ireland. He scored 97 against England. Then played an innings of 138 runs against Bangladesh. This season he did not play in the initial matches for Mumbai. He made his IPL debut against Kolkata Knight Riders and scored 29 runs. After this, he scored just 8 runs against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
