India beat Spain 1-0 and experienced defender Gurjit Kaur scored the only goal for them with her powerful drag flick.

Indian women’s hockey team won the title of FIH Women’s Nations Cup. The Indian team, captained by Savita Rani, won the title by defeating hosts Spain 1-0 in Valencia on Saturday 17 December in the final. (FIH)
