Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma is in isolation due to Corona, which has worried the team and BCCI before the Birmingham Test and now other players are also roaming freely.
On the tour of England, the action of the Indian cricket team on the field has not started completely. Team India has played a practice match and now the wait is for the test match starting from July 1. So what are the Indian players doing in the meantime? One answer to this question is that Indian players are making use of their free time by roaming the streets, alleys, markets and hotels of Birmingham. But these words or actions of Indian players are not only disturbing, but are also raising questions. The question is because Team India’s captain Rohit Sharma is infected with Corona. question because Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had recently instructed the players to avoid roaming freely and meeting with common people.
Since reaching England, Indian players were constantly being seen roaming freely from London to Leicestershire. From captain Rohit Sharma to former captain Virat Kohli, pictures of prominent players like Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja were coming fiercely on social media. Then on June 25, during the practice match against Leicestershire, there was news of captain Rohit Sharma getting corona infected, after which he has been in isolation. From here the question arose as to whether the Indian players were negligent?
BCCI gave instructions, no effect on players!
Meanwhile, there was news that the BCCI was also unhappy with this attitude of the Indian players and the board officials, along with reprimanding some players, had instructed the entire team not to openly mix much like this and at the same time wearing masks. Also use . But it seems that this instruction did not make any difference to the Indian players because on Tuesday 28 June, once again pictures of many players walking together in Birmingham have come to the fore.
In one picture, many players including Kohli, Pant were also seen enjoying lunch while sitting in a restaurant and then also took pictures with the restaurant staff.

Similarly, Virat Kohli was seen posing with local fans in some pictures earlier and once again a similar photo of him has surfaced, in which he is surrounded by many fans. In these pictures, none of Kohli or other players and fans have put on a mask. Similarly, Ravindra Jadeja and KS Bharat were also seen roaming in Birmingham.
Not a bio-bubble, but what about the precaution?
It is important to remember two things here. First, the England Cricket Board has not kept any kind of bio-bubble for this series because now all the activities in Britain have started happening like normal life before Corona. Wearing a mask is also not mandatory. In such a situation, the players have the freedom to move around. Second, despite the absence of a bio-bubble, if the players ignored the instructions of the board, then it is a shocking case because last year the fifth match of this series was postponed because the book launch of the then coach Ravi Shastri was organized in the middle of the series. After which some members of the support staff including Shastri were found infected and the fifth test could not be done. Now eyes are on what action the board takes.
