Sydney named assistant coach Jay Lanton in his playing XI. (Jay Lenton) who played as a wicketkeeper. Let us tell you that Jay Lanton has got a chance to play in the playing XI instead of Josh Philippi, who has become corona. Although Lanton also played in the Challenger match, but in the final, the assistant coach of Sydney Sixers did wonders. Lanton showed such amazing behind the wicket in the title match that people remembered Dhoni. Lanton stumped Perth Scorchers batsman Josh Inglis off Steve O’Keefe. Lanton carried out the stumping so fast that the fans became his fans.
This stumping of Lanton was very special for Sydney Sixers and their all-rounder Shaun Abbott. Actually, Shaun Abbott dropped a simple catch of Josh Inglis on Hayden Kar’s ball. Leaving this catch could have proved to be heavy for the Sixers, but O’Keefe’s excellent ball and then Lanton’s lightning-fast stumping completed England’s work. Inglis was dismissed for 13 runs in 13 balls.

Perth Scorchers under pressure
The top order of the Perth Scorchers, who topped the league round, was shattered in the final match. Perth’s top 4 batsmen were dealt in the powerplay itself. In the second over, Jackson Bird gave a big blow to Perth by dismissing Curtis Patterson. After this, Josh English was dealt by O’Keefe. Perth Scorchers got two biggest blows in the sixth over.
