Therefore, a lot of sales are expected to increase in October as well. Hero MotoCorp has sold 12.4 percent more this time than in August 2022. According to the company, a total of 28 lakh bikes and scooters have been sold from April 2022 to September 2022.

More than 92 percent bikes in sales

If we talk about the figures of September 2021, then the company has sold a total of 5,30,346 units. At the same time, a total of 5,19,980 bikes and scooters have been sold in September this year. In this context, the company’s sales have registered a decline of 1.95 percent. Talking about the motorcycle only, 4,80,237 units have been sold in September 2022.

There has been a decline of 1.88 percent in motorcycle sales as compared to September last year, with 9,180 units sold less. However, motorcycles alone account for 92.36 percent of Hero MotoCorp’s total sales.

Scooters & Home Sales

Hero MotoCorp has sold a total of 39,743 scooters in September. Hero scooter sales have fallen by 2.90 percent compared to last year. But there has been a huge increase of 234.88 percent in sales as compared to August 2022. In August 2022, the company sold only 11,868 scooters. Hero’s best selling scooters include Maestro and Destini scooters. However, the company has achieved a growth of 0.44 percent in domestic sales compared to last year and 17.85 percent in comparison to August 2022.

First electric scooter launched on 7 October

The larger the scale that the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer sells in the domestic market, the worse performance is reflected in exports. The company has been able to export only 2.36 per cent of its sales. At the same time, the share of the domestic market in the total sales of Hero MotoCorp is 97.64 percent. In this festive season, the company will launch the VIDA electric scooter on 7 October. This will be the company’s first electric scooter.
