Preparations are going on since the beginning of the year
The Telangana government and Formula E officials had earlier this year signed a letter of intent (LOI) for organizing an eco-friendly motorsports event in Hyderabad. The Telangana government is hoping to make its state a hub for electric vehicles. The Telangana government hopes that the Formula E race will play an important role in fulfilling this goal. Formula E Co-Founder, Chief Championship Officer Alberto Longo said, “We are very looking forward to the Formula E World Championship race in Hyderabad. We want to push the international boundaries of all-electric street racing with the E-Prix in Hyderabad and Sao Paulo. Also, we will organize this race in Jakarta, Seoul as well as Deira, Mexico City, Berlin, Monaco, Rome and London.
