The government can ask companies to reduce the price by up to Rs 10. This will benefit the common people because oil prices have remained at a constant high for several months. However, a decrease in the price is being seen for a few days. But more reduction is desperately needed.

The price of edible oil may come down during the festive season. The government has intensified its efforts to reduce the prices of oils. The Food Secretary has called a meeting with the edible oil companies on Thursday to review the edible oils. The government can ask companies to reduce the price by up to Rs 10. This will benefit the common people because oil prices have remained at a constant high for several months. However, a decrease in the price is being seen for a few days.
