Government resumes import-export help desk, impact of increasing cases of Kovid

Government’s preparations intensified amid rising cases of Kovid
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), a unit of the Ministry, has taken the step of starting a helpdesk to monitor the situation of exports and imports and to address the problems of trade related parties in view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19, DGFT has said in a The notice said that the Kovid-19 helpdesk has been restarted. Helping in import export licensing, resolving customs related matters. Documentation and banking related matters have to be resolved. With the wave of Kovid, the movement between the two countries was most affected, most countries had closed their borders for other goods except essential goods, this had a great impact on traders, while there was a shortage of containers in the Corona period. The issue was also raised. In view of all this, the government has started taking steps this time with the fear of third wave of Kovid.
Corona cases started increasing
Corona cases are increasing rapidly all over the world including India. According to the WHO’s Corona Virus Dash Board, 2.87 lakh new cases have been reported in India in the last 7 days. Whereas in America this number is 38 lakhs. In the UK, 12 lakh people and in France 1.2 million people have become victims of infection in the last 7 days. So far 44 percent of the people in India have received both doses of the vaccine. Whereas America, UK and France this number is 60 percent or more. In view of these signs, the government has started preparations at its level. Which includes steps ranging from increasing the availability of oxygen to helping the business. So that not only the corona can be controlled but also the pace of business can be maintained.
