Government hangs 6 airbag rules, relief to car companies, know from when it will be implemented
After the new rule comes into effect from October 1, 2023, at least 6 airbags will be mandatory in all cars manufactured in India. Earlier, the government had talked about implementing this rule from 1 October 2022. Let us see why the government has extended this rule for a year.

Government of India has come into force from 1 October 2022. 6 airbags The rule has been postponed for a year. Under these rules, all the cars manufactured in India shall have at least 6 airbags has been made mandatory. However, now this rule will be applicable from 1 October 2023. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari himself has given this information on Twitter. Car companies have definitely got relief due to the extension of the mandatory 6 airbag rule in the car by one year.
