Gautam Adani lost Rs 13,281 crore in a week, Mukesh Ambani got big profit

The market capitalization (market cap) of nine of the top 10 Sensex companies has collectively increased by Rs 79,798.3 crore in the last week. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys have been the biggest gainers in the information technology sector. In the last week, the 30-share Sensex of BSE has gained 630.16 points or one percent. The Sensex closed at its new all-time high of 62,293.64 points on Friday. Except Gautam Adani’s Adani Enterprises, all other companies in the top 10 Sensex companies have been profitable.

These companies benefited

In the week under review, the market capitalization of TCS has increased by Rs 17,215.83 crore to reach Rs 12,39,997.62 crore. At the same time, the market valuation of Infosys increased by Rs 15,946.6 crore and reached Rs 6,86,211.59 crore. Whereas, the market capitalization of Reliance Industries has increased by Rs 13,192.48 crore to reach Rs 17,70,532.20 crore. At the same time, the valuation of Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has increased by Rs 12,535.07 crore to Rs 5,95,997.32 crore.

The market capitalization of ICICI Bank has increased by Rs 6,463.34 crore to Rs 6,48,362.25 crore and that of Bharti Airtel has gained Rs 5,451.97 crore to reach Rs 4,71,094.46 crore. Whereas, the market capitalization of State Bank of India (SBI) increased by Rs 4,283.81 crore to Rs 5,42,125.54 crore and that of HDFC increased by Rs 2,674.47 crore to Rs 4,87,908.63 crore. On the other hand, the market capitalization of HDFC Bank has increased by Rs 2,034.73 crore to Rs 9,01,523.93 crore.

Mukesh’s Ambani’s Reliance Industries at the forefront

At the same time, contrary to this trend, the market capitalization of Adani Enterprises declined by Rs 13,281.01 crore to Rs 4,44,982.34 crore. Reliance Industries retained the first position in the list of top 10 companies. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, SBI, HDFC, Bharti Airtel and Adani Enterprises respectively.

At the same time, let us tell you that foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have once again started returning to the Indian stock markets. So far in November, he has netted Rs 31,630 crore in the stock markets. Analysts say that after net selling in August and September, there is no possibility of big selling by FPIs going forward. FPIs are investing money in Indian stocks due to the possibility of ending the cycle of aggressive increase in interest rates.
