Reliance AGM 2017: In the Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries held 5 years ago today i.e. in 2017, the company launched its first 4G VoLTE feature phone JioPhone with a refundable deposit of Rs 1500. Also, plans were launched with an initial price of Rs 153. This device was brought with features like support for many Indian languages, voice compound support and internet browsing.

With this, the company had launched the upgrade version of its Jio Phone JioPhone 2 with a price of Rs 2,999, as well as it was announced that from August 15, Jio Phone users will get support for 3 popular apps WhatsApp, YouTube and Facebook.
