Force Motors launched the off-road SUV on September 27 at a starting price of Rs 13.59 lakh (ex-showroom). In its new generation, the Gurkha has been upgraded with technology.
Force Motors has increased the price of its 4X4 off-road SUV Gurkha from January. According to the company’s official website, the starting price of Force Gurkha SUV has been changed to Rs 14.10 lakh (ex-showroom). This is an increase of Rs 51,000 from the old price at which the SUV was launched last year.

The second generation Force Gurkha SUV now appears as a great lifestyle vehicle that includes tremendous human comfort and advanced features. The SUV now sports a bolder look with a new front grille. It gets circular twin-LED headlamps and LED DRLs on the sides that sit atop the new set of fog lamps.
It gets 16-inch alloy wheels, which are placed inside the wheel arch with black cladding. It also gets a functional snorkel. At the rear, the Gurkha gets a new set of taillights as well as a ladder to access the roof-mounted luggage carrier.
The 2021 Force Gurkha SUV comes mated to the latest BS6 standard 2.6-litre diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, Force Motor has no plans to offer the SUV with an automatic transmission as of now.
